Praiano EN

Praiano

Of Roman origins, as part of the Amalfi Alliance, Plagianum became rich: there were Fondaci and Gabella, workshops of silk, thread, and coral, that could be found in the abundant waters.
Frequented by Charles I of Anjou, who wanted it rich with churches, monasteries and towers…after him, there was silence…just fishing. Fine squid, courageous, copious, contending the number one spot with the Cetaresi…Its white houses, overlooking the sea, over time have become villas, golden huts, lofts…and Praiano is one of Italy’s most sought-after holiday locations!
