          Crossing via Nuova Chiunzi going straight ahead for about 2km until Vecite. Near the Tower on the brink of the via Vecchia, we take the road opposite via Demanio...

          About a hundred metres ahead we find a small square of green, behind it a small spring of fresh water. This water is fresh and sweet-tasting and we advise you take some with you as provision on the expedition you are about to start, on your left climb a flight of small steps with a wooden rod as a hand rail...

          The route (easy to follow as there are many sign posts) goes through the FOREST DEL DEMANIO the remains of a thick forest then once covered the entire Amalfitan Coast...

          here a "GREEN GYMNASIUM" has been prepared in the valley, wood of laurel, oak and ash, gradually give way as you climb to a thick forest of chestnut trees. On the slopes some Maritimes Pines with whispering branches and on the rocks at their feet remnants of "Macchia Mediterranean": broom, rosemary, arbutus, myrtle, and in the shadowy undergrowth, violets, wild orchids and many other wild flowers of the woodlands. The wild life is also important, to be noted the timid "SALAMANDER WITH SPECTACLES" and the PEREGRINE HAWK and the rare OTTER...
